How To Spin Your Content into Multiple, High Quality, Unique Versions

The Right Way to Do It

In our previous blog we wrote about how duplicate content affects your Google ranking. But what if you have brilliant content and you want to re-use it on other places across the internet?

Very simple. “Spin” your Content.

Spinning content is rewriting an article in a way that Google thinks it is a unique article. But spinning content is not the same as rewriting. There are many spinning software options available, some better than others. They allow you to upload your content and let the spinner do the work for you, with automated output (THAT ALWAYS NEEDS PROOF READING). The software replaces words and phrases with synonyms and is able to sometimes even change the entire structure of sentences. Ergo, you can have hundreds of variations within a few minutes. Yes… They’re pretty smart.

Why and How Spinning can be One Big Failure

But even though spinning is a fast and effective way to recycle content, it is not appreciated by everyone and that’s no surprise. Most people use spinning software in the wrong way, causing more damage than good. Because Google can sometimes recognizes that the new variations, even though they are not exact duplicate, are from one original source.

The biggest mistake you can make with spinning is simply dumping your content in the software, letting it do the work, and then exporting and publishing the content.

DON’T! You should always keep control of the final published content. Even though spinning software can be smart, you are smarter. Rewrite & check everything yourself first and after the spinning software has done it’s job.

How to Get High-Quality Content through Spinning

Spinning is a great tool, IF used in the right way. Before I show you how to properly spin content, here are some quick tips.

• Manually Rewrite all headings
• Mix up paragraphs to change the order of content
• Choosing and/or add your own synonyms in the spinning software
• Check and rewrite the article manually to make sure it has your personal writing style

Take control of the spinning! Don’t rely fully on the software. Rewrite, tweak, check, rewrite again, this is where most people fail. They load their article in a spinning software, click the ‘re-write’ button, export numerous versions and they are done. This lazy feature is why so many people have bad content pieces, and it’s actually damaging since backlinks will stem from what Google deems to be poor content.

Spin Your Content to a High Quality Level

After manually tweaking the article you are ready to spin the article.

Now, here is the best way to do this. In this example I’m using SpinRewriter, which I also recommend highly.

Step 1: Copy & paste your content into the spinning software.

Step 2: Click ‘Start the Rewriting Process.’

After this, you will notice that some of the words are underlined like the image below shows.

Step 3: Click ‘one-click Rewrite Settings.’
Step 4: Select ‘correct’ as the safest choice and tick the box for ‘find synonyms for single words inside spun phrases as well.’

Step 5: Click ‘Start the one-click Rewriting Process.’

Now you will see, what looks like a big mess, something similar to the image below.

And THIS is the stage where most people go wrong and end up with awful content. By just stopping here and exporting/using the article as it is. Do not ever do this.

Step 6: Instead, check the whole article as there are probably words and sentences that don’t make sense. So go through the article, check manually every spun word to check the best option. Also, add more spun words of your choice by double-clicking on any word. This will give you several options for various synonyms. Select as many as possible – note: it should still make sense – and you can continue to the final step.

ESSENTIAL STEP 7: Find the Oblivious Mistakes in the Master Content Version. After saving your Rewrite article, you should generate several unique articles, and proof read them very carefully. When you do this, you will identify root grammar errors, and then can go back to the master version and delete or edit synonyms, tenses and grammar as necessary. Then, generate more unique versions until you have eliminated all the root grammar errors. After doing this, you can generate hundreds or thousands of versions with a high degree of confidence in the quality of the grammar.
