Removing RipOff Report in weeks – Case Study
Defaming article posted on RipOff Report as blackmail
Our client was in the processing of buying a website. But when he changed his mind, the site owner started blackmailing our client. If our client did not pay, the owner would put him and his business on RipOff Report. Which he did. When prospective clients performed their online research on our client’s business, the RipOff Report would be listed on the first page of Google. Our client was losing existing clients and prospective clients, due to the visible presence of this defaming and false article. He hired our team for removing RipOff Report as soon as possible.
The Process
Page1.me began working on the case on June 13, and by end of the same month, we were able to push the result down to the second page of Google. Since June 29, the first page of Google for our client has been completely clear, due to removing the RipOff Report article.
When we initially started our work, the RipOff Report increased in ranking and moved to position 7. This is quite a normal, in some cases it get’s worse before it get’s better. After a few days, the article moved up and down in ranking a few times, before completely being pushed down far into page 2 of Google.
The Results
Within 2-3 weeks, our team achieved the removal of RipOff Report from the first page of Google.
NOTE: This case is a little out of the ordinary. Sometimes we can achieve good corrective results within a few weeks, but in some cases, it can take months. Patience is the key.
